Do you use words of encouragement in your relationship? Dr. Gary Chapman shares 5 traits that many of us need (varying degrees) and words of encouragement are important to many people.
Think about a goal, dream, or accomplishment that spouse or loved one is putting off because they don’t feel adequate or that they have the support. You can help; share affirming words to instill courage, and encourage their endeavor with your support. Think about all the ways you can show support and encourage them; leaving notes in wallets, purses, cars, lunch bags, computer cases, text messages, emails, a written note in the mail (yes they still do that!) Share with them that you believe in them and that you know they can do it. These words and actions can be invaluable to your partner, and may boost confidence and grow.
Mapping your language of love is something that we do with all couples that provide premarital and relationship coaching with, and we can help you too!
Let’s meet so we can understand your vision, priorities and plans. Experience the difference of being married by a friend of the family and not a stranger!
