Your ceremony, will anyone remember it? What do you most remember about the last ceremony you attended? A challenge for you both, think about the last couple of weddings you have attended. Think about the chair covers, favors, centerpieces, escort cards, cake topper, etc. What do you most remember?
I am willing to bet that neither of you will recall, in detail, most of the “small things” that sometime we spend too much time considering or worrying about.
When I meet with couples I share with them the three things that people LOVE about a ceremony is 1) What you are wearing. 2) They want to hear your vows and 3) They like to see you kiss! The most important thing, is keeping the most important thing; the most important thing… the moment you are joined together.
So, for all those “small things” ask yourselves, “Will anyone really remember this?” It is a good tool to use if you’re not sure or are spending a lot of time with a tough decision or something that is going to cost more than you budgeted.
Let’s meet so we can understand your vision, priorities and plans. Experience the difference of being married by a friend of the family and not a stranger!
