Thanks to a friend of mine, I started searching through message boards on a wedding website. I was curious to see what brides (and grooms) had to say about local vendors and their overall reviews. Out of all the posts that I looked through, I noticed that tuxedos were not mentioned at all! 🙁 Of course, there was the venue, the flowers, the dress, caterers, photographers, but no tuxedos…
I know it’s because I work in the business, but I am constantly looking at the tuxedos at weddings and formal events. It’s almost an obsession actually. They say that every one looks at the bride, but I look at the groom/groomsmen first. Personally, I think that there are a lot of important aspects to a wedding, but the tuxedos make up half of the wedding party, if not more. With that in mind, one might think that the tuxedo would get a little more recognition.
We are starting a new social media/marketing project at Gentleman’s Choice. Hopefully we can get our name out there more, and bring not only the tuxedo back into the spotlight, but our other services as well. Stay tuned!!!
