Using a wedding story board is a great way to help you plan your wedding, also known as wedding inspiration boards. They are basically a collage of pictures that helps you pull together color schemes, decorating ideas and other wedding details. You can show your board to your florist, baker, officiant, photographer, wedding coordinator, venue coordinator, and others, to help them understand the look and feel you want your wedding to evoke.
An inspiration board also helps you stay focused and avoid purchases that do not fit well into your overall vision. Create your board using pictures from magazines, websites or personal photographs. How do you make one? Many free programs are available to you, in addition to software you may already have at home. The one we recommend is Picasa (by Google) it comes with a feature that allows you to “add” your photos and then simply select the collage feature that will assemble your wedding photos into a story board for you!
