Wedding Ceremony Wording

I have never had a couple come to me and say can I have the same ceremony you just did last week!  Everyone wants something unique, special, and that represents them!  I can help you accomplish that.  Sometimes finding the wording is all it takes.  Here is one used often, a good reading…

Marriage Advise Jane Wells (1886)

“Let your love be stronger than your hate or anger.

Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend a little than to break.

Believe the best rather than the worst.

People have a way of living up or down to your opinion of them.

Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship.

The person you choose to marry is deserving of the courtesies and kindness you bestow on your friends.

Please hand this down to your children and your children’s children.”

Before you ask your friends or family to read consider that some words, like those chosen above, are really meant to be read with great reflection and enthusiasm.  Not all good people are orators.  Choose the person who is to read wisely.  Of course if it is a short piece that is a few lines, perhaps the youngest member of your family or circle of friends would do well!
