To Veil or not to Veil…

As if deciding on the perfect wedding dress isn’t hard enough the next task of accessorizing the dress with a veil can be just as daunting.  Hopefully this blog and the one that follows will provide you with some insight on the need for a veil and what length is right for you.

When it comes to trends for veils, the truth is there aren’t any.   The most important thing is that the veil compliment your bridal style and not overwhelm you or take away from the dress.

Another thing to consider about the veil is that unlike the dress a veil is more easily handed down to the next generation, since veil styles aren’t something that change dramatically from one generation to the next.

Let’s face it not everyone will be blessed with a daughter to share their dress with and the chances of that daughter fitting the dress or wanting to wear it are not very likely.  A veil however can be attached to a modern headpiece or worn as is and provide a special detail on the big day.

In our next blog we’ll detail the various veil lengths.   Stay tuned 🙂
