I start every rehearsal I coordinate with these words to the couple… Don’t marry the one you can live with. Marry the one you can’t live without. I then say to everyone, that the ceremony will be what it will be. If a flower does not stand perfect, if the cake has a scratch, if… if… if… the focus we all share is the intimate moment that you both say I do. 
Your engagement set into motion an interweaving of family, friends, lives, professionals, vendors and planners who are taking your wedding to task as if it were their own.
One piece of advice may be to remove “perfect” from your vision, goal and vocabulary. That, for those who have not been married or who have not planned a wedding, may be easier said than done. Focusing on the “the perfect wedding” may cause unnecessary stress. Instead, focus on your “special wedding” or your “beautiful wedding.”
Weddings give couples great lessons in learning to roll with the punches. It is appropriate to think about and know that not everything will be 100% as planned, and that is ok. Remember that you are surrounded by people who are there to help when needed.
In most cases it is the little things that get missed, that if focused on, become bigger than life issues that can cause emotional and physical stress and anxiety. Anything that happens can be managed by those whom you are surrounded by.
