Dressology 101 Part 2

In this installment of Dressology 101 we will be looking at the Sheath dress style and Satin fabric.

The Sheath or Column dress has a slim outline, cut close to and following the natural curves of the body. This type of dress is best suited for slender or tall brides.  Brides who are more curvy, shorter or full figured would want to shy away from this style.  A few of this style are shown below.

    

Satin is a medium weight fabric that usually has a shine to it.  It can be less forgiving of body flaws but if you’re going for a more formal look for your event Satin is a good choice.
